Those little extra steps can be annoying.
Like when you’re preparing an e-mail in Outlook. After clicking the ‘To’ button to select your recipients, are you tired of having to select the Act! Address Book in the drop-down each time?
Good news! You can eliminate that extra step when you make your Act! Address Book the default address book in Outlook.
It’s easy! Just follow these simple steps:
1. In Outlook, on the Home tab, click on the Address Book button in the Quick Access Toolbar at the top
(or hit Ctrl + Shift + B)
2. In the Address Book Contacts pop-up window, click menu item Tools > Options
3. In the Addressing pop-up window, Click the drop-down arrow in the section “When opening the address book,
show this address list first”
4. Select Act! Address Book
5. Click OK, and you’re all set!
