You may be one of those Act! users that love the Marketing Results tab and use it often to access your Act! E-marketing Reports. If you haven’t checked out this cool function, click here!
But if you’re NOT not accessing your Act! E-marketing Reports through this tab or you’re not using Act! E-Marketing (aka Swiftpage) … you can remove it. Removing the Marketing Results tab will improve the speed of your Act! because you don’t have to wait for all the data to load.
You can remove the tab in one of two ways:
1. If you’re using Act! E-marketing (aka Swiftpage), click the Act! Emarketing icon on the toolbar. Click Account, Uncheck the “Display Marketing results Tab.” This keeps the Act! Emarketing icon but gets rid of the Marketing Results tab.
OR
2. If a specific user will not be using Act! Emarketing, you can disable that feature by going to Explorer and navigating to the C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins folder. Rename the ACTSPE2005.dll file to ACTSPE2005.old.
