It’s important for you to know that some computers will AUTOMATICALLY upgrade software…and that automatic upgrade to Windows 10 may cause Act! to stop working!
If you have a version of Act! older than v18 here are some work-arounds that may help.
You may find this FAQ link about Windows 10 helpful, too.
However, in order to avoid headache, lost data and a locked-up database, we highly recommend an upgrade to Act! v18.
Keep in mind if you want to go to Windows 10, your free upgrade ends Wednesday, June 29th.
