Ever schedule an important meeting on Memorial Day and realize your family was planning to go on a picnic that day? Add holidays to your Act! database so you don’t miss an important day again!
You must be an Administrator or Manager to create Events in your database. If you are in a sync environment, this will need to be done on the Master Database.
1. In Act!, click Schedule, Manage, Events
2. Click Add… (for your convenience, below is a list of 2016 Federal holidays)
3. Enter the Holiday Name and the Date:
4. Click OK
1. Click Tools, Preferences, click the Calendar & Scheduling tab
2. Click Calendar Preferences button
3. Put a check in the Display events option
4. OK, OK
2016 Federal Holidays:
Friday 01/01/16 New Year’s Day
Monday 01/18/16 Martin Luther King Day
Monday 02/15/16 Washington’s Birthday
Monday 05/30/16 Memorial Day
Monday 07/04/16 Independence Day
Monday 09/05/16 Labor Day
Monday 10/10/16 Columbus Day
Friday 11/11/16 Veterans Day
Thursday 11/24/16 Thanksgiving Day
Monday 12/26/16 Christmas (day after)
